(Click on the slide show for high-resolution pictures...) N1412V is a 1975 Cessna 172M, 4948 tach hours airframe, hangared at KOMH, Orange County, Virginia. I love this plane, but between my job and lots of new grandchildren I just don't have enough free time for ownership to make sense right now. I'll hate to see 12V go, but I would rather know that someone is flying it. Penn Yan SuperHawk STC, 180HP Lycoming O-360-A4M, Sensenich 76EM8SPY-O-60 fixed-pitch prop, engine and prop 2662 tach hours since new, compressions 69/80 or better, good oil analyses (see attached oil analysis reports at the bottom of this page), STC includes increase to 2550lb maximum gross weight. King KX155 NAV/COM w/GS; KX170B NAV/COM; KN64 DME; KR87 ADF; KMA24 audio panel; Garmin GTX327 transponder with new altitude encoder, cables, and antenna at time of installation in 2006; Horizon P1000 digital tachometer; Davtron M303-1 digital OAT/voltmeter; McFarlane MCSK100 flap roller kit; Sporty's Precise-Flow air vents, Tanis engine heater; Brackett air filter; seat tracks replaced in 2002; CorrosionX treatment in 2008. I have a Lowrance AirMap 2000C portable VFR GPS I'll throw in, as well. Minor damage history before I owned the plane (runway excursion that clipped a runway light and creased the belly; bird strike on leading edge of wing). The last time I washed the plane I discovered a small leak at the lower pilot-side corner of the windshield. My mechanic tells me that the windshield needs to be removed and resealed to address the problem. I can either take care of this before sale or we can take it into account in setting the selling price. US registration since new. Logs complete since new. Annual current (January 2010), IFR current (July 2009). Go HERE for a Oil Analysis document Price - $38,995 |
